Lighthouse High is registered as a 7-12-grade private school with the Florida Department of Education and approved to grant Standard High School Diploma to 9 th -12 th grade students. Lighthouse uses A Beka Curriculum for all students and Stanford 10 Final Test Battery is administered.

Our vision is to create a nurturing, safe and professional environment that supports the educational success, social, emotional, spiritual, and physical development of all adult students that promotes academic excellence, and contribution actively in serving and improving the community in which it operates.

Our Adult Program

Purpose

Adult High School (AHS) program at Lighthouse High enables an adult no longer enrolled in public high school to complete the required courses and state assessments to earn a standard high school diploma.

Program Structure

Instructional methodologies may include, but are not limited to, traditional lecture instruction, competency and performance-based adult education, distance learning and computer-assisted instruction.
